Wushu Basics: Students will work on stances, punching and kicking combination drills, and also incorporate a strength/speed/flexibility training regimen.
Wushu: This is a class primarily focused on contemporary wushu and traditional kung fu forms. Students will respond most effectively if they have had prior wushu experience or if they have taken the Wushu Basics class.
Wushu Weapons: Students who have attended several Wushu classes can learn weapons forms in this class. Weapons covered include staff, spear, broadsword, straightsword, flexible weapons, and others.
Sanshou Basics: Students will work on the fundamentals of boxing, kicking, throwing, and grappling. This class will use shadowboxing and speedbag/heavybag drills. Muay Thai and submission techniques will also be covered.
Sanshou: Students will use shadowboxing and speedbag/heavybag drills and they will practice sparring. This class will work on boxing, kicking, throwing drills and also cardio and strength training drills.
Eliminator: Plyometrics, circuit training, conditioning. Specifically designed to develop explosive power and cardio conditioning for Wushu, San Shou, and Mixed Martial Arts athletes.
Kids Kung Fu: Children between the ages of 5 and 12 learn wushu drills, wushu forms, and sanshou (kickboxing) techniques.
Tai Chi: Yang and Chen style Tai Chi classes
MMA - Brazilian Jiujitsu (Submission Grappling): Students will work on a collection of techniques and strategies used to defeat and control an opponent without the use of striking (typically through the application of various grappling holds, choke holds, and counters to various hold attempts). Submission grappling forms an important part of both ground fighting and standing clinch fighting.
MMA - Wrestling: Students will learn throwing, tripping, and sweeping techniques and also numerous techniques for controlling an opponent while in the clinch or on the ground. This Wrestling class is structured to emphasize techniques useful in Mixed Martial Arts competitions.
MMA: Combines striking, clinch fighting, wrestling, and bjj into one course. Techniques from all areas of combat are covered with an emphasis on transitioning from one phase of combat to another.
Open Workout: All students are welcome to utilize our training facilities during these times to practice forms, work on heavybags, run on the treadmill, stretch, lift weights, or anything else they desire.
Private Lessons: For those who are interested in personalized, one-on-one instruction, private lessons can be scheduled on any day directly with the instructor. Private lessons are customized to the student's personal goals, whether it's to learn self-defense, weight training, weapons/empty hand forms, taichi, kickboxing, submission grappling, or any combination of those.
